It was reported that WCT Holdings Bhd has secured a subcontract from IJM Bhd to build part of the West Coast Expressway, which stretches from Taiping to Banting, for RM282.57mil.
WCT said on Monday its unit had accepted the contract from IJM Construction Sdn Bhd for package works of the expressway from the Shah Alam Expressway Interchange to the North Klang Valley Expressway interchange.
It said the scope of works included site clearance and earthworks, geotechnical works, drainage works and box culverts.
“The works under the subcontract shall be completed in 36 months from the commencement date,” it said.
