It was reported that two Indonesian construction workers lost their lives after a concrete wall fell on them.
The two victims, identified as Sahrullah and Mattalha, both aged 42, suffered grievous injuries to their heads during the incident on Tuesday (Aug 20) afternoon at Persiaran Electron Seksyen U16, Denai Alam.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department deputy director, Wan Md Razali Wan Ismail, in a statement said that a team from the Kota Anggerik fire station was deployed to the scene.
“The operations commander confirmed that a concrete wall had collapsed at a construction site.
“One victim was brought out by members of the public, while the second was extricated after firefighters broke through the concrete wall using special equipment.
“Both were pronounced dead,” he said, adding that the remains of the victims were handed over to the police.
