It was reported that Instacom Group Bhd has been awarded a RM116.4mil development project in Gombak, Selangor from CRCC Malaysia Bhd. (CRCC Malaysia Bhd is the subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corp Ltd, the largest engineering contractor in China.)
The company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the award was bagged by Vivocom Enterprise Sdn Bhd, an indirect subsidiary focused on construction, for a gated community housing scheme consisting of semi-detached units, villa mansions, an apartment block and housing units under the Rumah Selangorku scheme.
“This project is in addition to the contracts in hand of Neata Aluminium (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Vivocom amounting to RM351.753mil and RM230.287mil as disclosed in our circular dated Sept 28, 2015 and announcement dated Nov 12, 2015 respectively,” it said in the statement.
The project would commence on Jan 18, 2016 and to be completed within 18 months, it added on the statement.
