It was reported that a 25-year-old construction worker was killed in a freak accident at a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project site near Kota Damansara.
The worker was crushed to death when the skylift he was on overshot after it suffered hydraulic problems.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Mohd Sani Harul said they received a call at about 2.40pm and a response team arrived at the site minutes later.
“The victim was stuck in the skylift cage. He was pronounced dead by a Sungai Buloh Hospital medical team,” he said.
